The unique design of the tray allows taking final impression and recording bite at the same time.
Double arch edentulous impression :
For this case, you would receive a double custom tray with a bite block (combo).
The lower tray has a handle facing inward. This unique design allows making marks on the vestibular surface of the tray without the handle being on the way.
The lower tray handle has a hole in it for the specific screw. This screw acts as a vertical stop against the flat plain of the upper tray. It also could work as a Gothic arch, centric occlusion tracer.
Once the final impression is taken for both arches, and the correct vertical is established by adjusting the screw capturing bite is easily done by locking both trays with impression material.
